2013
2012 has been an unusual year.
Amidst the times of tireless working life and moving on from one job to another, 2012 had somehow hit a long pause button in my life. Yes, it brought things to a stop. All the rat race of the city life and material ambitions all don't seem to matter any more. It seemed to have broke the bubble that have trapped me (and the rest of us) for too long in this mindless chase of nothing.
The long break has slowed down the haste in my life so I could stop and see things in perspective. While I seek to move on, the change has to be well worth it. I do not want to move on for the sake of it. While the time and tide wait for no man, who is to say that we must be pressured by time in the way we live?
Eventually, life's greatest achievement is not measured by the amount of money that you have or the number of cars you own.
It hasn't been an easy year, just like life will never be easy. Being fully recharged, I see my new lease of life in 2013. I want to live fuller.
2013. A new year, a new beginning, a new life. And it can only get better.
